A villainous run!

This morning saw the 10th SuperHero run along Hove seafront, where the Jo’s Thing team opted to be villains! (albeit fairly understated villains…). I’m not sure how they do it, but the organisers always provide us with sun for this run and today was no exception – hot hot hot!

We practised our villainous look from early on:

Loads of brilliant costumes, everything from running with a lampshade on your head to escaped convicts chained together.

It was a tough run today, really sunburny hot right from the start. I was pacing Lara to her first sub 60 10k and boy did she have to dig deep. We needed a 5.40 last k to hit target and failure wasn’t an option 🙂  Well done Lara – storming finish!
